LOS ANGELES — Several hundred people from more than 30 organizations participated in the annual “Left Coast Forum” held at California State University, Los Angeles, on October 2-4, 2026. The conference featured dozens of workshops, taking up topics such as Palestine, fighting the ICE raids and defending immigrants, struggles for housing for the homeless, medical care for all, and the economic and political crisis of capitalism. Among them was a panel discussion on Cuba, featuring health care advocates, and representatives of the Inland Boatman’s Union and Jewish Voice for Peace.
