This is the executive summary of the “Elimination Project: Israel’s Systematic Dismantling of Palestinian Collective Life in the West Bank.” The Israeli human rights organization B’Tselem released this report on September 14, 2026. “At the time of publication, the West Bank is under a sweeping Israeli assault that is systematically and at an accelerating pace dismantling the foundations of Palestinian existence,” the report says in its opening. It provides a comprehensive, historical outline of the systematic effort by the Israeli government and its entire repressive apparatus to eventually cleanse the occupied territories, and perhaps even Israel proper, of all Palestinians. BROOKLYN, New York, November 12, 2025 — Sally Abed and Alon-Lee Green, two national leaders of the Israel-based Jewish/Palestinian antiwar group Standing Together, spoke today at St. Ann’s and the Holy Trinity Church here as part of a multi-city tour in the United States. Abed is a Palestinian citizen of Israel and member of Haifa’s city council. Green is a Jewish Israeli and the Standing Together national co-director. They are touring this country to share a simple message, which can be summed up by the title of their talk: “The Fight Ahead: From Ceasefire to a Just Peace.”

West Bank: Israeli Soldiers ‘Do Whatever They Want’

In this article, Amira Hass — the Haaretz correspondent for the occupied territories — documents the intensifying violence by the Israel Armed Forces (IDF) against Palestinians in the West Bank. Combined with horrific attacks by right-wing settlers, the IDF assaults have resulted in the deaths of nearly 1,000 Palestinians, while injuring more than 7,000, over the last two years. Palestinians in the West Bank have also been effectively banned from cultivating their land.

After months of U.S. opposition to a ceasefire in the war on Gaza, the United Nations (UN) Security Council adopted a U.S.-sponsored ceasefire plan in a near-unanimous vote on June 10. Yet no end to the war is in sight. Israel’s relentless assault grinds on. The number of Palestinians killed in Gaza has passed 37,000 with over 85,000 wounded. On June 12, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, head of the World Health Organization, warned, “A significant proportion of Gaza’s population is now facing catastrophic hunger and famine-like conditions.”
