Help World-Outlook Cover May 14 Pro-Choice Actions

An Appeal to Our Readers

Dear friends,

World-Outlook needs your help to report on the May 14 protests scheduled for this Saturday in defense of women’s right to choose abortion and to oppose the US Supreme Court’s plan to scrap Roe v. Wade.

We know many of you plan to join these actions. We welcome both photos and brief reports.

Please include basic facts: location, size, what the crowd looked like, demands and chants. The words of participants, explaining why they joined the demonstration, or how they see the issues, will also be a big help. If possible, identify by name and organization speakers or others quoted. Photos alone, with brief descriptions and the name of the photographer, are also welcome as soon as possible (even if a fuller report is not possible or is sent later).

Reports and photos can be emailed to: world.outlook.2021@gmail.com. Material received by the end of Monday, May 16, can be included in a round-up report.

Such eye-witness coverage can help paint a picture of the opposition to the attacks on women’s reproductive rights across the United States at this critical moment. We have outlined the stakes involved in the recent World-Outlook editorial “A Turning Point in the Fight to Defend Women’s Right to Choose Abortion.” We urge you to share the editorial with others.

All assistance is sincerely appreciated.
