Dear Friends,
World-Outlook needs your help! To continue to maintain our website and expand our list of subscribers, we need our readers to assist with covering our costs.
Over the last year, we have taken steps to improve the content, reach, readability, and functionality of our website. World-Outlook sent reporters to provide eyewitness coverage of important developments in the class struggle, such as the union organizing efforts at Amazon warehouses; we purchased software to allow rapid and accurate transcription of videotaped interviews and sought publishing permission for articles and photos; we fully integrated the English and Spanish sides of the website; and we increased World-Outlook’s visibility on social media.

These efforts have helped expand our reach. A number of articles — including coverage of railroad workers fighting deteriorating working conditions and of Amazon workers and others fighting to unionize — have been read by thousands. At the same time, the number of subscribers — readers who automatically get an excerpt of each new post along with the link to the full article as soon as it goes live — has more than doubled to nearly 200.
We want to express our sincere appreciation to readers who have contributed reports on important political activity such as the monthly caravans opposing the U.S. economic blockade of Cuba, the fight to defend women’s right to choose abortion, protests against police brutality and racism, and developments in the labor movement. The articles and photos readers have generously shared are vital to our coverage.
We also want to single out two readers who have volunteered to join our copy-editing team: Barbara Mutnick and Yvonne Hayes. Thank you!
Please help us build on these successes by encouraging your friends, colleagues, and acquaintances to subscribe to the site for free, and to “like” and follow us on Facebook (@World-Outlook) and Twitter (@WorldOutlook3).
Equally vital is your financial support. We are turning to our readers again for the money needed to sustain these advances and make future improvements possible. In particular, regular monthly contributions have enabled World-Outlook to have a small but stable stream of economic support between financial appeals, which have primarily generated one-time contributions.
To join this group of monthly donors or to make a one-time contribution, no matter how modest, please use this link: https://world-outlook.com/donations-contributions-2
In solidarity,
