World-Outlook.com is a site for online publication of political analysis and interpretation of events.

Articles published by World-Outlook discuss issues pertinent to the working class, other exploited producers such as working farmers, trade unions, land and labor, social justice, racial equality, women’s rights, ending discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender, sustainable interaction between people and nature, art and culture, national liberation, and socialism, among others. We occasionally share earlier documents produced by the workers’ movement that shed light on today’s reality.

The site aims to stimulate further discussion and exchange of ideas. We believe it can contribute to promoting actions aimed at building a society based on human solidarity and social equality, a world without borders.

The value of a World-Outlook subscription has been underlined by the recent momentous events in the Middle East. World-Outlook responded quickly with an editorial opposing Israel’s barbaric assault on Gaza, while also explaining that the gruesome methods employed by Hamas set back the Palestinian national liberation struggle.

We followed that editorial with extensive coverage that included analysis from a revolutionary socialist perspective, such as the three-part series No to Israel’s New Nakba in Gaza.

We’ve also shared the views of others, including the Palestinian-American scholar Rashid Khalidi in the interview End Oppression of One People by Another.

Cuba and the Palestinian Liberation Struggle: An Exchange featured differing opinions on recent events.

With Israel’s West Bank Inferno & the Responsibility of Socialists we republished a review by Alan Wald of the book A Day in the Life of Abed Salama: Anatomy of a Jerusalem Tragedy by Nathan Thrall, which appeared originally in Against the Current, and speaks to how socialists should respond to these events.

In ‘The Jewish Tragedy Finds in Israel a Dismal Sequel’, World-Outlook made widely available, for the first time in more than 50 years, a valuable interview with Marxist scholar Isaac Deutscher.

Other noteworthy items include our editorial and news analysis on how the victory by the United Auto Workers in the strike against the Big Three was a gain for the working class across the United States; and ongoing coverage on the Cuban revolution, such as the article Belly of the Beast Tour Broadens Support for Ending U.S. Blockade of Cuba.

This list does not exhaust our recent coverage, all of which can be found on our home page.

By subscribing you will be notified via email of each new World-Outlook post. We encourage you to do so. We also suggest that you ask family, friends, coworkers or anyone else you know who may be interested to do the same.
