For the first time in more than two years, World-Outlook is asking for your help in sustaining our publication. To continue to maintain our website and expand its reach, a new infusion of funds is necessary to cover future operating costs.

We believe World-Outlook offers political analysis not found elsewhere.

In recent months, World-Outlook and its sister publication in Spanish Panorama-Mundial have included eyewitness coverage — with the help of several readers — on the resistance to ICE terror across the United States, a meatpackers’ strike in Colorado, and opposition to the U.S. efforts to asphyxiate the Cuban people. We have provided analysis of U.S. imperialism’s wars, recently in Venezuela and Iran, and Washington’s complicity in the Israeli regime’s genocidal assault on the Palestinian people. And we have tied these and other developments to lessons from the past.

This work is a labor of love on the part of our editors and contributors, all of whom are volunteers. But funds are needed to cover fees for licensing the domain and use of the WordPress platform; to pay for subscriptions to news sources, and occasional licensing of photos; to allow access to photo-editing and translation software; to pay for applications that facilitate our social media presence; and to cover administrative costs such as post office box rental.

We are also in the process of purchasing and installing text-to-voice software, which will allow readers to listen to posts in English and Spanish.

We thank those readers who, in May 2024, generously contributed $2,400 to keep this work going and allow us to expand. Your contributions helped to nearly double the subscriber base, which now stands at just below 500.

A particular thanks goes to those who have continued to send periodic donations, especially those of you who have committed to regular sustaining contributions — ranging from $5 to $50 for a total of $110 monthly. These provide a small, but steady, stream of income and currently cover about a third of our monthly expenses.

However, while we have kept operating expenses to a minimum, those resources are nearly depleted.

We are asking for your help to raise $2,000 to keep World-Outlook and Panorama-Mundial on a firm financial footing and to continue to offer subscriptions for free.

As part of reaching this goal, we hope some of you will consider making a monthly pledge and help increase the regular sustainer base to $300. This would allow us to reserve future fundraising for special projects such as reporting trips.
