We are pleased to announce that as of October 15, 2026, we have reached 504 subscribers, just over our goal of 500. This means that over the last 12 months we have nearly doubled the World-Outlook subscription base, which stood at 267 a year ago.

A heartfelt thanks to those of you who have helped boost our readership by sharing articles on social media; encouraging fellow activists, colleagues, coworkers, friends, and relatives to subscribe; and utilizing World-Outlook articles as a guide to action and political education.

It is now clear that the clouds of authoritarianism and accelerated assaults on working people — exemplified in the United States by Washington’s anti-immigrant drive, a frontal attack on the working class, and on a world scale by its genocidal threats against Iran and Cuba along with Israel’s genocidal attacks on the Palestinian people — are threatening human civilization. The prospect of forging a movement of workers, farmers, and their allies that can turn the tide is daunting but necessary.

The goal of World-Outlook and its Spanish-language sister publication Panorama-Mundial is to help draw the lessons of today’s struggles and provide insights from those of the past to aid in finding a way forward. To that end we publish news and analysis that is unique, or that is impossible to find in the mainstream media.

We have recently made enhancements to the website and continue to look for ways, including on social media to make that content more accessible, particularly to young people fighting for a better world — one based on human solidarity and social equality. We welcome your ideas and suggestions.
